Deaf family

My whole family is either deaf or hard-of-hearing. Everyone except Diamond, Baja, and I. June, our roommate is deaf, my mom, my dad, Megan, and Bullseye. I feel like I have a pretty good idea what it's like to be deaf. But I don't know for sure. I'm sure most of you don't. I know sign language too! I really like it. Is it a language? You can't speak it, you can sign it, and you can communicate with it, so, i guess it's a language!

It is also very expressive and fun to use. If you are willing and persistent enough, you can learn it too! You probably would ask how do i communicate with my parents, how did I learn sign language, is sign language easy? My mom is deaf, yes, but she uses hearing aids to hear. Many people misunderstand and think when they put on hearing aid, they can hear and speak just like hearing people can. but that's not true. Many people would say it's like trying to hear underwater. So, my mom was able to speak to me because she has had them forever and has developed her speech to be just like ours and that way, she taught me my first language! Sign language is as easy and hard as almost any other language out there.
