My Summer So Far....

My summer has been pretty good so far. First- I went to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for a wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. My mom was the MOH (maid of honor). She cried, as always! But I had a lot of fun; danced crazy and awkwardly too! :P

After I was done with the wedding, I said good-bye to Mom and Megan. And the next day, me and Dad headed out to Sturgis, South Dakota! I was greeted by a mass mob of family Ive never met before. Auntie Norma gave me a bag-full of beautiful Native American jewelry she made herself. She has her own business. I couldn't thank her enough for that warm "welcome to the family" present. It was fun meeting Gramma Tammy and Grampa Ray. They're awesome. We played wii and Grampa Ray, Dad, and I went go-karting. Dad won the first round and I won the second. We went to Keystone and Dad bought a leather jacket and I got moccasins and a Sturgis jacket. :D

So, then we said good-bye again, and moved on to another location! ALASKA!!! Long flight, I hate traveling. I love going places, but getting there is what I hate most. Dad got me a bed-set. It's bright and colorful. So I guess it will help the depression all the rain and cold I have given us. For some reason, everywhere I go it's cold and wet. :'( Dad got me a solid curtain for my room so that the sun won't shine through when I'm trying to sleep. It wasn't wide enough so we have to get another one. It costs $30 though.

Today was my first day in Alaska. I didn't have such a great start though. Yesterday, my mom was telling me that my Great-Gramma Rosen wasn't doing so well. Today Mom called and told me she had passed away. I am very sad mostly because I didn't have a chance to say one last good-bye. I will talk more to my mom tomorrow. But, other than that, I had a pretty smooth day.
